Harpeth Trace is getting a haircut – and it’s a much needed one, at that! The HTSA Board recently reviewed quotes from several companies to trim, and in some cases remove, low-hanging trees over the main drive from the common areas. Winter is approaching, and these limbs and hanging trees become a danger to travel in Tennessee’s freezing rain episodes.
Today – Wednesday, Dec. 10 – is the day! Please take care and be patient if you are delayed by the good folks with Price Tree Care, who are providing the service. They will be working all day, and may occasionally have to stop traffic on Harpeth Trace Drive. It will be worth the hassle to know these trees won’t be falling on our heads come January.
And of course, this is Nashville, and it wouldn’t be Nashville if our tree trimmer weren’t – in his words – the next super star of Country Music. There’s even song about it on his video page (“I traded my chainsaw / for one last chance …”). You heard it here first, folks!
Big thanks to new Board member Schatzi Hagemen, who has hit the ground running with taking over landscaping responsibilities. We’re thankful to get this work organized before winter. 😉
